Prasar Bharati signs MoU with TMG Enter

The Prasar Bharati has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with technology channel TMG Enter for providing programming to DD Bharati. TMG Enter will provide the software for a one-hour time band on the channel called TMG e-Samvaad targeted at youth and children.

According to Prasar Bharati CEO, Mr Anil Baijal, the idea was to bring IT-related edutainment for the benefit of children. The programme will not only focus on IT, but also in other sectors such as biotech, human genome.

Mr. Baijal said that DD Bharati would be soft launched on January 26, 2002. Programming for the first six-eight episodes had been tied up. But the channel would take some two-three months to stabilise.
