Mr. Pradeep Iyengar, who was heading Presto, the division of Fulcrum for press advertising, has put in his paper on Monday. According to informed sources, Iyengar will be joining Tata Services. Before joining Presto, Iyengar was with Lintas Media. In the absence of Iyengar, Presto would be headed by Avinash Pillai and Himanshu.
Presto is getting reconstructed aggressively to handle the heavy flow of print advertising. The informed sources say that some of the Lever brand will be using the print medium heavily. This could be corroborated with the fact that some brands of HLL, e.g. Sunsilk, Lakme and Lux are splashed all over the prints today and have had heavy spends in the print lately.
