Nine Gold races ahead on TRPs

According to the latest TAM Media’s TRP rating for the 7 pm to 10 pm band for all TV households across all TRP cities, Nine Gold has managed to capture 25 of the top 50 programme slots in India. The rating is for the period beginning November 5 to November 11. Since its launch in September 2000, Nine Gold has seen a consistent growth in TRPs. From a launch week high of 5.2, the TRPs have being growing consistently and is currently at 9.6. The rating in cable and satellite households for Nine Gold has doubled in just two weeks after the airing of the Helen concert. The Helen concert is being rated as a sampler for the cable and satellite homes. From a pre-Helen rating of 0.9, Nine Gold has seen an increase to a TRP of 1.9 across all TRP cities, which is an increase of 108 per cent.
