Nine Broadcast having tough time in marketing its serials

Nine Broadcast is having a tough time marketing its television serials with government broadcaster Doordarshan stopping the company from advertising on entertainment channels other than DD1 and DD2.

According to Jaideep Grewal, director-marketing, Doordarshan does not allow Channel Nine programmes to advertise on other cable and satellite channels like Zee TV and Sony Entertainment Channel, which it wants to do for better impact.
