National Geographic, Ford team up to go green

National Geographic Society and Ford Motors have teamed up to launch a joint campaign to address the major environment-related issues. Beginning January 2001, the campaign called EarthPulse would involve a series of multifaceted public awareness programmes. It will examine and report on earth’s vital signs, its oceans, its freshwater, its living creatures and other related areas. The campaign will also be telecast in the National Geographic Channel.
