For the first time in the history of the company, MTNL is scouting for an Agency on Record (AOR), to consolidate its corporate media buying programmes in Delhi and Mumbai. MTNL has brought out a national print campaign inviting leading agencies to pitch in for its media-buying business.
In an effort to revamp its communication strategy, the company is also scouting for leading ad agencies to design its advertising campaigns. MTNL has received applications from 34 agencies in Mumbai. Currently, MTNL’s advertising panel includes ad agencies such as Adfactors, Sobhagya Advertising, RK Swamy/BBDO, Mudra Communications, Mode and Canco Advertising.
To promote its cellular service ‘Dolphin’, MTNL is now stepping up its brand building exercises by launching new print and outdoor media campaigns across Mumbai.
As for the future plans, MTNL plans to roll out a slew of new services and initiatives like pre-paid services and WLL (Wireless in Local Loops).
