MRUC plans to streamline outdoor industry

After streamlining its Indian Readership Survey (IRS) on the media consumption habits of the consumers, the Media Users’ Research Council (MRUC) plans to launch a comprehensive research specifically for the outdoor industry.

To be formulated along the lines of the UK-based Postar Research, MRUC is currently weighing the prospects of initiating a similar research on the Indian outdoor.

According to Ashish Bhasin, managing director, Aaren Initiative and vice-chairman of MRUC’s outdoor committee, there is a need to bring in this research because nothing is standardised in the Indian outdoor industry.
