An expatriate, a representative of the WPP Network may head MindShare in India. MindShare is the media buying, planning and research company set up by WPP and O&M Worldwide. It is already operational in Europe and Asia Pacific.
Plans are afoot to divide MindShare into I and II to handle conflicting clients of the two agencies. MindShare II is likely to be named Maximise. MindShare will handle business worth Rs 1,500 crore for clients belonging to O&M and HTA. Meanwhile, Fulcrum, HTA’s local media buying arm set up exclusively for HLL may continue to operate a part of MindShare.
