A two-day convention to held at Chennai on India media and marketing communication, organised by the CII will be inaugurated today by Mr Arun Jaitley, Union Minister for Law, Justice and Company Affairs. The convention, called ‘Media UnConvention’ would present a comprehensive view of technologies, market, strategies, growth opportunities and success stories that fire media and media convergence and its effective usage. The impact of convergence on consumers, industry, advertisers and marketers and media business would be discussed. The key issues for discussions are understanding media convergence, new media technologies, role of the Internet, consumer research in media, production and marketing of content, impact of converging media on markets, among others.
