The Jasubhai Digital Media (JDM) has decided to shelve the launch of Information Week, one of the leading global magazines on technology in India. The launch was initially scheduled for October.
The decision not to launch the magazine was taken in wake of the US attack. Since the business climate has become volatile and most US-centric technology companies are maintaining a wait-and-watch attitude.
The JDM, advisory board and clients were also of the same opinion that this was not the right time for the launch, said Maulik Jashubhai, executive director of JDM.
The launch of Information Week was part of the company’s effort to strategically position its business portfolio and get into the next wave of publishing and content development.
