International: National body Association of TV Programme Executives announces nominations for 2006 Board of Directors

The National Association of Television Programme Executives (NATPE), a global non-profit organisation dedicated to the creation, development and distribution of televised programming across platforms, has announced nominations to its Board of Directors for 2006.

The nominees include Michael Camacho (Creative Artists Agency), Cecile Frot-Coutaz (CEO, FremantleMedia, North America), Lucy Hood (President, Fox Mobile Entertainment, and SVP, Content and Marketing, News Corp), Roma Khanna (SVP, Content, CHUM Television), Bruce David Klein (President and Executive Producer, Atlas Media Corporation), Ibra Morales (President, Telemundo Group), Marc Schacher (VP, Programming and Development, Tribune Broadcasting Company), and Andrea Wong (EVP, Alternative Programming, Specials and Late night, ABC).

President, Mobile Media, Infospace, Inc and Co-Chair, Stephen J Davis, said, “This new Board of Directors continues to represent a significant cross section of the businesses that are so vital to NATPE. I look forward to working with the new and returning board members over the coming year in continuing to advance the ongoing goals and objectives of NATPE.”

The organisation develops and nurtures opportunities for the buying, selling and sharing of content and ideas. The nominations are pending formal ratification from NATPE’s voting membership during the association’s annual business meeting on Thursday, January 26, 2006.

NATPE 2006 Conference and Exhibition in Las Vegas is an annual event, which will enter its fourth edition from January 24 to 26, 2006, at the Mandalay Bay Resort. The event will see the largest number of sessions and presentations in its history, and will have representatives from over 70 countries.
