Energizer has consolidated its strategic and creative
business for the Eveready, e2 and Energizer Alkaline brands with DDB across
19countries in Asia/Pacific, the Middle East and Africa.
The assignment, worth more than $10 million, follows a
three-way pitch against the Campaign Palace and George Patterson Bates, both
Australian agencies, and DDB in Hong Kong.
Media was not included in the review. Zenith Media
continues to handle mediaplanning and buying throughout the region.
Previously, advertising for the Eveready and Energizer
accounts was handled by George Patterson Bates. Last year, DDB was awarded
the global advertising business for e2, a Titanium battery brand, but it
lost the U.S. portion to TBWA in a recent review.
