HTA has bagged the Rs 10-12 crore Tropicana account in India from FCB Ulka, thus putting rest to industry speculation that the fruit juice account would go to the Omnicom group agencies Mudra or R K Swamy BBDO, with which Tropicana has been aligned globally.

Subsequently, IPG bought out True North Communications which was until then looking after three Pepsi brands: Gatorade, Acquafina and Tropicana. By virtue of being part of True North, FCB Ulka was looking after Tropicana in India.
Last month, Pepsi announced that it was moving its brands from True North to Omnicom.
