Government considering imposing restrictions for print media firms

The Union government is considering imposing restrictions on print medium companies which can hold equity stake in a broadcasting venture. The issue of restriction on the print medium will be tackled through the proposed Communications Bills 2000, which government is working on presently. The issue will be addressed through the Communications or Convergence Bill, said I&B minister Sushma Swaraj.
