etc to telecast three new shows on music legends

etc will telecast three new shows on music legends: Asha Bhonsle, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and RD Burman in the month of June.

Apani Ashi will be presented in a unique format where Asha Bhonsle presents the show herself in an autobiographical fashion. The four half-hour episode will be telecast on Saturdays at 8.30 pm. The telecast dates are June 9, 16. 23, and 30. There will be a repeat on Sunday at 10.30 pm and Thursday at 7 pm. In each episode Asha will talk about a particular decade with reference to her life, songs and experience.

etc will present a half-hour exclusive titled Aadab Nusrat Sahib on June 3 at 7.30 pm, with repeat on June 5 at 1.30 pm and June 9 at 7 pm. The show will feature songs from the soon to be released posthumous album of Ustad Fateh Ali Khan.

‘RD Burman Lives’ will be telecast on June 27 in the 7-9 pm band. The show will also be about the innovative and unusual way that Mr. Burman used instruments or even combs in his compositions.
