Discovery getting into region specific programming

Discovery Channel is in the process of getting into region specific programming. The first step towards this is the India specific programming called India Week, programme based on India’s unique Wild Life.

The channel will be kicking off with road show for this programme from December 15 and the programme will go on air from December 18. Soon after the India Week, Discovery would be going ahead with its South Asia Week, which is scheduled to go on air in the first quarter of 2001.
