CNN’s global advertising campaign will hit the Indian market on June 11. The print campaign is designed by Color Purple and reads as: “Your World changes every day. Get a ringside view.” CNN has launched the global ad campaign to focus on its core brand values: breaking news, speed and accuracy, and 24-hour coverage. The tagline is ‘Be the first to know.’
The campaign, created by WCRS in London, took eight months to develop. The internal team at CNN created the television spots. The campaign fits into CNN’s multi-platform proposition. It also gives CNN a post-convergence positioning.
CNN, in the past, ran different campaigns in different markets because it was speaking to different audiences.
