Indigo has signed up two channels on the recently launched Worldspace service, and these two channels will provide audio content to a national audience.
"Satellite radio would enable the delivery of high quality content to focused audiences as the Worldspace receivers are being lapped up by audiences all over the country. The two channels are being branded Indigo FM and Indigo Fem respectively," chief operating officer (technology) Ajith Menon said. BPLInnovision is a telecom service provider and also claims to be the largest wireless company in India. It holds cellular licences for Mumbai, Maharashtra, Goa, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry. Its other brands include BPL Connect, BPL Net, OyeIndia and Indigo Radio.
