BBC to use Horizon 2000 survey to market its channel in India

BBC World will use ‘Horizon 2000’ – a survey conducted by ORG-MARG and Starcom, for media planners and television advertisers to market its channel in India.

BBC World’s target advertisers will be information technology companies, consultancy companies, travel companies, banks and financial institutions, corporate campaigns and consumer goods. It will also be using the survey in international market as the companies there are eyeing India in a big way. BBC World’s Asian region’s advertising contributes 35 per cent to the global revenues, while India’s contribution to the Asian region is 15 per cent.
