The action and adventure television channel AXN will kick off the Indian premiere of Survivor beginning December 19. The programme, which is a part of the Adventure Unlimited month, will be aired every Tuesday at 10 pm with repeat on Sundays at 12 noon until March 2001. For the first time, AXN will broadcast each episode on Sunday at 8 pm in Hindi.
The Adventure Unlimited has so far secured sponsors such as AXE deodorant, Akai, International Palmolive, Shave Gel, Gillette Mach 3, LG Electronics, Timex watches, Cherry Blossom and Sify.com.
At present in India AXN has a penetration of over 10 million cable and satellite homes and is present in over 1,500 cities. AXN recently launched a service in Israel and is targeting Europe in a big way said Todd Miller, managing director, AXN, Asia.
