AXN scouting Indian producers for content

AXN, is looking out for Indian producers for content development indigenously, according to Mr. Shantonu Aditya, senior vice-president, SET India. “The production could be anywhere in India, we are already in touch with some of the local producers,” Mr. Aditya said.

The company is looking at the local production as one of the expansion programmes proposed in India. AXN plans to shoot some of the mystic and yogic arts. This apart, AXN is looking to Hindi dubbing as one of the areas for expansion.

The company plans to dub serials that are popular worldwide into Hindi language. At present, the channel is airing dubbed versions of “Survivor II”, which has become a success.
