ATN to launch bilingual TV channel

ATN International Limited plans to launch a new bilingual TV channel in English and Hindi in the next three months. The proposed bilingual channel to be christened ATN Prime—shall focus on infotainment, education, medical science, fitness and beauty, travel & tourism, career counselling and news and current affairs.

The target audience for the proposed channel would be those in the 14-35 age group and all programmes would be tailored to “inform and educate” viewers in this age group.
