Aastha TV to telecast Kumbh Mela live

Aastha TV channel will telecast Maha Kumbh Mela live from Allahabad from January 8 onwards. The channel has been appointed by the government of Uttar Pradesh as associate organisation of the ministry of Information and Public Relations to broadcast proceedings of the Mela. The channel will cover this event with a team of 155 technicians and latest equipment including 22 digital cameras and eight Betacam editing suites.
