Zee Kannada launches new show—Mahanadi: The politics of love

Zee Kannada is celebrating its 10th year of successful entertainment. For 10 years, Zee Kannada has entertained the audience of Karnataka with vibrant and colourful content and continues to do so. After the success of reality shows like Weekend with Ramesh season-2 and Drama Juniors & fiction shows such as Naagini, Mahadevi and Ganga, Zee Kannada is back with a brand new offering in fiction, Mahanadi.

Mahanadi is a story of political ambitions and love stories squandered to achieve it. Vikram Simha is an all-powerful M.L.A of Narayana Pattana, a small river side town in Karnataka. In the same town are, Meghana and Madhura, daughters of a postman. Meghana is scarred by her sister’s death and hates men for it. Her father is trying everything  to convince her to get married, but to no avail. In a moment of misjudgement, Meghana agrees to marry, but only to M.L.A Vikram Simha, knowing it is impossible to happen. But Madhura, wows to get both of them married. In the process, Vikram Simha falls in love with Madhura. But gets married to Meghana in a political play.

Mahanadi is an electric saga of high Drama, emotions and political twists & turns. Will Madhura realize Vikram Simha’s intentions? Will Meghana understand her husband’s motives? Will the world see Vikram Simha for what he is? You need to watch the show, which airs from July 4th Mon-Sat at 7pm, to know the answers. The show has some of the prominent names of the industry such as Nagkiran, Bhavana Belagere and yesteryear villain, Kirthiraj. The show is produced and directed by Shruthi Naidu, who has given many successful shows such as Chi.Sou.Savithri, Devi, Shrirastu Shubhamastu and Mahadevi. The show also has many well-known technicians as part of the crew.
