VoD service nexGTv to screen India-Zimbabwe Cricket Series

The mobile entertainment service by Digivive, nexGTv has partnered with sports channel Ten Sports to live stream the Limited Overs Cricket Series between India and Zimbabwe.

The five-match series which comprises three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and two T20 matches will be played in Harare starting July 10 and go on till July 19.

The new series marks the introduction of the new ODI rules brought in by International Cricket Council (ICC). Teams will have to evolve plans in-line with the new rules which prescribe only four fielders outside the 30-yard circle in the last 10 overs.

Commenting on the partnership, G D Singh, Director and CEO, Digivive said, “We are a nation that lives, breathes, sleeps and even dreams cricket. With the IPL hoopla now over, this series is perfectly timed to introduce and revitalise consumers with the magic of cricket all over again. We are confident that our decision to stream it free on nexGTv for our viewers will be welcomed by them.”

Cricket buffs across India will be able to view in-field action on their mobiles, throughout the day or follow the entire day’s action in a single session by watching the entire match as Video-on-Demand (VoD) session via the app.
