Vijayavani 'Personality of the Year Award' ceremony held in Bangalore

Leading Kannada publication group Vijayavani recently took the initiative to find and select achievers from ten different fields as Vijayavani Personality of the Year 2015-16.

There was a careful selection of ten categories of awards and called for readers opinion to suggest the personality who has contributed towards the uplifting of the society. More than 22,000 recommendations were received to choose the deserving names and out of which 30 achievers from different fields were shortlisted in the first phase. There was one more round of voting process for final selection wherein 10 achievers were finalized through Vijayavani website and SMS polling system. The finalists were awarded as ‘Vijayavani Personality of the Year’ at Ravindra Kalakshetra, Bangalore on 2nd April 2016 in commensuration with Vijayavani 5th Anniversary celebrations.
