Vaibhav Modi puts in his papers at Endemol India

Vaibhav Modi, Head - Non Scripted Entertainment at Endemol India, has quit the company and is serving his last month there. He had joined Endemol India three and a half years ago and has been instrumental in producing shows like ‘Dadagiri’, ‘Big Switch’, ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar’, ‘Oye it’s Friday’, ‘Chak Dhoom Dhoom’, ‘Chhote Miyan’ and others on various entertainment channels.

His role at Endemol included creative development, adapting international formats, creating new opportunities for branded entertainment and leading teams on execution of shows.

Speaking to exchange4media on his new destination, Modi said, “I have not frozen on any option right now. I am in talks with various broadcasters and there are some proposals for partnership as well. I will take a break right now and then decide.”

Modi has been in the content business for more than 12 years. An MBA by education and a creative producer and writer by passion, he had held creative positions with leading broadcasters and production houses like Sony Entertainment Television, MTV India, Miditech and Cinevistas before joining Endemol India.
