Travelxp Tamil to ring in the Tamil New Year with two new shows

On the occasion of Puthandu, the Tamil New Year, on April 14, Travelxp Tamil is all set to introduce two brand new shows in its lineup – Damu’s Kitchen and Krazee Foodie.

The New Year begins with the launch of a food band with Damu’s Kitchen, a studio based cookery show hosted by renowned Chef Dr K Damodaran. Popularly known as Chef Damu, a Guinness Book record holder for the longest cooking marathon, Damodaran is the first Indian chef with a Ph.D in Hotel Management and Catering Technology. Damus Kitchen goes on air with a curtain raiser on Friday, April 14. The series will be aired Monday to Friday at 7.30 pm.

Krazee Foodie is a destination based food show where celebrity host Nanjil Vijayan explores streets of cities and towns in the search of the best food joints and restaurants, adding humor as an essential ingredient to his journey as he does so. To begin with, viewers will get to know more about their favourite food joints in Tamil Nadu and other regions. Krazee Foodie goes on air on Saturday, April 15 and will be aired on the weekends at 7.30 pm.

Launched on December 13, 2016, Travelxp Tamil, the first Tamil lifestyle channel, is available on Tata Sky, Videocon D2h, Jio TV and Cable TV Networks. It is a sister channel on Travelxp HD, World’s Leading Travel Channel available globally in over 50 million homes.
