Silly Monks wins Best Startup Award at HMTV Business Excellence Awards 2017

Silly Monks Entertainment, the Hyderabad based new media company founded in 2013, has won the Special Jury Award for Best Startup at the HMTV Business Excellence Awards (BEA) 2017.

As many as 200 nominees vied for awards in 12 categories at the event attended by Union ministers M. Venkaiah Naidu and Bandaru Dattatreya at Avasa in Hyderabad on May 6.

The awards honoured companies, business leaders and entrepreneurs from the two Telugu states viz. Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to celebrate entrepreneurial spirit and business acumen.

For Sanjay Reddy, Founder and Managing Director, Silly Monks Entertainment the recognition was proof that be it a job or business, backed by focus and commitment, it will bring success.

Silly Monks Multi Channel Network (MCN) delivers approximately 275 Million+ views in a month and addresses a social audience of 20+ million followers across various social media platforms.

The company, which started out with nothing but their vision from a single room workspace in Sept 2013, today has a team of around 50+ associates who control a network of over 800 YouTube channels and 100+ Facebook pages.
