International eyewear brand, Vogue Eyewear is back with a fresh offering featuring Bollywood actor, Shraddha Kapoor, and six other inspiring women in different situations. The brand has released a digital film to further its #ShowYourVogue campaign which encourages women to show the world their real self, not caring too much about what others think of them. The campaign aims to touch upon the extraordinary, the real, the famous, the celebrity, the girl next door, the movie star – anyone and everyone who has substance and is willing to show it by giving an insight into her real self.
The film shows women from different walks of life in a fresh light. An intern is stealing the show at a boardroom meeting by giving an exemplary presentation, unfazed by the experience of senior colleagues flanking her. A mother nonchalantly doubles up as a star drummer to pacify her toddler. A girl shows up on a bike to fix a car that has broken down. Another one is having fun doing pull ups on a public bus, much to the dismay of onlookers. Shraddha, the celebrity, turns her day around and has a great time with her music after her shoot gets cancelled, urging the viewers to show their Vogue, to tap into that unexplored side that adds so much meaning to our lives. These women being comfortable in their skin, immune to people’s stares, are a refreshing watch, and most importantly, they are having the time of their lives while they are at it. The tune is infectious, the mood is playful and you're sure to get inspired to #ShowYourVogue.
Amit Singh, Head of Marketing at Luxottica India Eyewear, said, “Do anything but do it like you is the first thing you're sure to tell yourself once you watch this film. Shraddha Kapoor and the six other women in the film are as self-assured as it gets and they are owning their lives and how! The film gives us a sneak peek into their free spirited attitude towards daily life and brings forth an important message – live and move in your own style, in your own Vogue!”
The film has been conceptualized by Brandmovers India. Speaking about the film, Suva Ghosh, Chief Creative Officer at Brandmovers India, said, “This was a really fun project for us to work on. The idea was to create an anthem that catches on with the woman of today and to juxtapose it with interesting visuals. Working with Shraddha Kapoor was a great experience too!”
