Red FM celebrates six years with Global Indian Music Awards

Red FM partnered with the Global Indian Music Awards (GIMA) for the sixth consecutive year. GIMA 2016 was held recently in Mumbai.

Red FM listeners selected and awarded the best radio song of the year. 'The Radio Song of the Year' presented by Superhits 93.5 Red FM Bajaate Raho! was awarded to Pritam and Arijit Singh for the song ‘Gerua’. The coveted award was presented by Minal Sharma, the National Revenue Head for Red FM.

The award hosted by Ayushmann Khurrana, witnessed several Bollywood actors, including Sonakshi Sinha, Amitabh Bachchan, Arjun Kapoor and Aditi Rao Hydari.

Sharing her views on the long partnership with GIMA Awards, Sharma said, “GIMA is the biggest music award show in India and RED FM has been a proud radio partner for six years now. Red FM is all about the music and entertainment and GIMA amplifies these attributes beautifully at the awards function. This year’s Red FM Radio Song of The Year - Gerua - was a true listeners’ favourite and we are very happy to have honoured our listeners’ Bajaate Raho choice”.
