News18 Network to host 'Rising UP' event in Lucknow

News18 Network will be organizing ‘Rising UP’, the next event in its Rising Series, on Tuesday in Lucknow. The Honorable Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath will be the Chief Guest at the event. This high-profile platform brings together the top political leadership of the state to outline and discuss their vision for the state’s development. The theme for Rising UP is “Naye Uddeshya, Badhta Pradesh” as it promises to discuss the development agenda set by the state’s recently elected government.

Ever since he took charge of Uttar Pradesh, CM Yogi Adityanath has been focusing on policy measures and decisions to put the state firmly on the path of growth. The CM has made his intent extremely clear that providing development oriented and clean governance is his number one priority. At the Rising UP event, the CM is likely to speak at length on his government’s immediate priorities and the roadmap for the development of the state.

The event will also feature Deputy CMs Dr. Dinesh Sharma and Keshav Prasad Maurya as well as senior UP Cabinet Ministers Shrikant Sharma and Siddharth Nath Singh. There will also be a session with the former CM of the state and the current Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav on his views on the BJP Government, on playing the role of a constructive and effective opposition as well as on what the future holds for him and his party.

“As a credible news platform, we consider it essential to be able to provide our viewers with visibility on the political leadership’s plans for development and governance and Rising UP will do just that,” said Rajesh Raina, Group Editor, ETV News Network.

Adding to the above, Avinash Kaul, President – Strategy, Product & Alliances – Network 18 & Managing Director, A + E Networks | TV18, said, “As a network, we are very excited about the Rising UP event. We are aware that our viewers expect this kind of impactful content from us—the country’s leading news network. Our plan is to scale up this initiative and to make it a milestone property for our viewers in every state.”
