NDTV to celebrate 25 years with 'Solutions' summit

NDTV has completed 25 years and is all set to mark the occasion with a Summit in Delhi on December 14, 2013.

The theme for the Summit is ‘Solutions’ and will see eminent speakers and the audience deliver prescriptions, not diagnostics, for India’s economy, sports, arts, films and technology.

Some of the topics include Innovation, Science & Technology: How can software, technology and science help solve many of India’s key problems?, Internet, Sports, Art and Culture.

Each session will be telecast live on the NDTV network of channels around the world.

Tata Consultancy Services is the presenting sponsor for the event.

Sharing his message on the NDTV website, Prannoy Roy, Executive Co-Chairperson, NDTV said, “NDTV is 25 years old this year, which makes us India’s oldest private television production and broadcasting organisation. We would not have reached this landmark were it not for your support. And we are deeply grateful for your partnership in this exciting journey in India's history of free media.”

He further said, “From the days of ‘The World This Week’ during the tumultuous global decade of the 80s, to the current run up to the big 2014 General Elections – NDTV has been honest with you, a part of your everyday life. Your support has ensured that we have stayed away from tabloid journalism.”

“In this landmark 25th year, we are planning a number of special programmes and events. Each one of these will be a classic with which we hope you will be proud to be associated,” Roy added.
