JCDecaux gets named in Limca Book of Records

JCDecaux has announced that its Indian subsidiary has been certified by the Limca Book of Records with two national records.

The entry that makes the list is the glass façade of Dhaula Kuan station at the Delhi Airport Express Metro Line (DAMEL) managed by JCDecaux, which has been certified as both the largest outdoor media format and the largest outdoor display for a single client in India. 

The display area measures 158.8m (521 ft) wide and 12.8m (42 ft) high, the media is positioned on the premium stretch with to and fro traffic movement from Central Delhi/Karol Bagh to Gurgaon/Dwarka and Delhi International Airport access road. It has a showcase area of 1,3860 sq ft.

Speaking about the achievement, Pramod Bhandula, Executive Chairman of JCDecaux India said, “The Limca Book of Records certification is a momentous achievement for us and it significantly strengthens our commitment to deliver and sustain excellent media opportunities.
