TV and film actor, Jaspal Bhatti, better known for his popular comedy serials – ‘Ulta Pulta’ and ‘Flop Show’, has launched his new comedy film, 'Power Cut'.
Written and directed by Bhatti, this Punjabi film , ‘Power Cut' is a love story set in the backdrop of power politics. In other words, the film brings out the plight of ordinary people whose lives have been made miserable by frequent power cuts on a day-to-day basis.
Veteran film actor, Prem Chopra, plays the role of a Power Minister while Rajesh Puri is casted in the role of a CMD of a power corporation. Jafar, a student of Bhatti's Mad Arts Film School, is in the romantic lead opposite Surlie Gautam of TV serial,'Meet Mila De Rabba'. Bhatti's son - Jasraj, an animator by profession also makes his debut in the film and completes the love triangle.
Produced by Paveljit Singh, Power Cut has some racy numbers by Mikka and Sunidhi Chauhan, set to the music composed by Gurmeet Singh.
