Jaipur Shopping Festival offers 360 degree brand connect

Rajasthan Patrika is all set to kick off its initiative, Jaipur Shopping Festival, from October 16. The Festival continues till November 13. Film director Karan Johar launched the symbol of shopping – ‘The Shopping Bag’ – thus signaling the start of the month-long fiesta.

The Jaipur Shopping Festival (JSF) facilitates the unified effort of all business associations, vypaar mandal, corporates and citizens of Jaipur to establish brand Jaipur and reinforcing the Pink City’s status as a preferred family and events destination in the region.

Almost all major markets (10 in all), plus most major malls are under a long term strategic tie-up with JSF. By virtue of this tie-up, International Fairs & Festivals (IFF) enjoys exclusive branding, activation, décor and events rights with these markets.

The Jaipur Shopping Festival is expected to create more footfalls in the market, thereby boost shopping. This will not only benefit the participating associations and markets, but business community of Jaipur and ancillary industries as well, besides promoting Jaipur as a shopping destination.

This year, JSF is targeting rest of Rajasthan and Delhi NCR. In the coming year, the Festival plans to go international for which Rajasthan Patrika is working closely with the Government and industries such as hospitality, service, telecom, aviation, tours & travel, MNCs, and so on.

The JSF organising committee is branding the Pink City with a common signage and colour theme and also with the sponsors to raise money for the events, promotion and décor. The professional umbrella will structure footfalls by unique discounts scheme with lots of cross promotion schemes and a mega raffle.

Marketing strategies are in place to guarantee footfalls with the advertisers and also push strategies to further ensure sale through raffles, etc. The JSF organising committee will be advertising across all media, including print, outdoor, radio, web, TV and activations, extensively in Jaipur and also covering other cities of Rajasthan, besides Delhi, Ahmadabad and Madhya Pradesh.

The whole idea is to create huge marketing platform to bring together all sections of people. Events associated with JSF range from in-mall fashion shows, musicians, street performers, jugglers and other entertainers.

Participating shopkeepers and bazaars will be benefited by increased in footfalls created by discount schemes and sales will be increased by an array of discounts, offers and raffle schemes.
