IDBI Federal Life Insurance's event with Sachin Tendulkar goes live on Facebook

IDBI Federal Life Insurance recently went live on ‘Facebook LIVE’ to introduce IDBI Federal Life Insurance Mumbai Half Marathon. The company also introduced Sachin Tendualkar as the face of their marathons in New Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata.

The company took this event LIVE with help from digital agency, Social Kinnect.

Karthik Raman,CMO, Head – Products and Strategy said,“As a company we wish to inspire people to lead healthier and fitter lives. The idea is to move away from the uncertainty and fear that surrounds life insurance buying. The idea here is to give life insurance a positive spin with sports and fitness as its foundation.”

He added, “Sachin Tendulkar’s fitness regime and discipline have played a pivotal role in his long innings as a cricketer. It was a special event with an even more special person delivering an important message. It was only natural for us take a pioneering step and capture the event live on Facebook. It was an attempt to make the country feel a part of the conversation with Sachin.”
