Hinduja Healthcare Surgical lauded at Designomics 2012

Hinduja Healthcare Surgical, a boutique healthcare hospital, has been lauded at the Designomics 2012 awards under the Retail category for Environment Graphics and Way Finding Systems.

The awards were given at a function on November 24 in Mumbai by Preeti Vyas, Chairman, VGC. The jury comprised celebrated names from both the design and business fraternity, including Abhijit Bansod, Founder, Studio ABD; Pooja Tandon, Design Head, Pidilite Industries Ltd; Prof Dhimant Panchal, Director – Design Center, HOD – Foundation Programme, MIT Institute of Design; and Lulu Raghavan, Country Director (India), Landor Associates, among others.

The Designomics Awards is the first-of-its-kind effort in India that appreciates business houses and creative agencies that empower and elevate the business models which adopt the power of design to influence positive results. The winners in 2012 were hailed for being enlightened businesses that took pro-active steps forward to incorporate strategic design in their various modes of communication which would in turn influence the building up of various milestones in their business.

Satya Hinduja, daughter of Ashok Hinduja, Chairman, Hinduja Group India, propounded the Hinduja Healthcare belief that healthcare is not only professional but also artistically personal too. Hinduja Healthcare’s brand philosophy, inspired by nature, found its way into elements of the brand’s environmental design, including signage, way finding and iconography.


Kranti Gada joined the family business at Shemaroo in 2006 after a successful stint of over two years in marketing at Pepsi Co. She has been associated with the company for 12 years.
