Grehlakshmi organizes 7th edition of World’s Largest Kitty Party

Grehlakshmi, the fastest growing women's monthly in Hindi organized yet another grand edition of World's largest Kitty Party-Grehlakshmi Kitty Party 2015-a grand day specially designed to celebrate the spirit of womanhood, at The Hotel Holiday Inn, Mayur Vihar, New Delhi. The inauguration of the Grand Kitty Party was done by lamp lighting ceremony by Dr. Kiran Bedi, Renu Shahnawaz Hussain, Shahnaz Husain, Alka Lamba and N. K. Verma, Chairman & Director, Diamond Group of Publications.

With the theme of Women Safety & Empowerment this year, an interactive panel discussion was conducted involving leading ladies like Dr. Kiran Bedi, Renu Shehnawaz Hussain, Alka Lamba, Vartika Nanda, Subha Rajan as panelists with Anshu Pathak as the moderator. The discussion dwelled on the raging issue of 'How safe are our daughter's in India'. The panelists spoke at length in bringing about tangible changes concerning women safety in India  and concluded with a set of do-able recommendations to ensure  achieving the intended results. The day witnessed another informative panel discussion  with Mompreneurs Sonal Jindal, Stylist and Curator of Medusa, Shalini Vij, Director, Hang out for Kids, Suman Dash, Co-founder, Vastradi Jewels, Meenakshi Dutt, a world-renowned Indian makeup artist  and Suman Aggarwal, Director, Image Consulting Business Institute as the moderator of the show. The discussion revolved around how Mothers have emerged as a force to reckon with in every possible field and are forging ahead with confidence. Being a Mompreneurs comes with a unique set of challenges and each mompreneur shared her story of building a startup while raising kids at the same time.

Besides, empowering women with such power packed panel discussions, Grehlakshmi Kitty Party also provided a fabulous day out to all the ladies with various fun activities and workshops like Make up makeovers, Nail Art, Tarot reading, Face and body language reading,Astrology, Numerology, Saree draping, Diet counseling, Hair makeovers,Personal Styling and Selfie booth etc. Ladies present were also complimented with titles like Ms Early Bird, Ms.Chatar Patar, Ms. Chup Chap, Ms. Best Coordinated, Ms. Beautiful Hair, Ms Beautiful Skin, Ms.Tetley Chai Queen, Ms. Fit & Active, Ms. 100% Indian Women etc, which were presented by various brands participating in the event. Apart from this, Grehlakshmi also felicitated 10 powerful socially active women as 'Grehlakshmi Goodwill Ambassadors' to honor those women who have acquired identities of their own and now work for giving back to the society.

Upping the glamour quotient, the magnificent event witnessed splash of celebrities and who's who of  Television and Bollywood including Aditi Sajwan and  Shafaq Naaz from SAB TV's popular show Chidiya Ghar,the energetic Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi, Gracy Goswami- Anandi's daughter from Color's longest running serial Balika Vadhu,spontaneous Anchors Sameer Kochar and Archana Vijaya from Set Max, Sayantani Ghosh and Kishwar Merchant from Sony's popular show Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyar, Radhika Madan, the lead actress from  Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi on Colors, Parvati Gadodia and and Helly Shah of the famous show Swaragini-Jodein Rishton Ke Sur on Colors, Hiten Tejwani and the Bollywood heartthrob Emraan Hashmi, who came to launch the most innovative comic-a combination of Chacha Chaudhary's wit and Mr. X's invisible powers to help fight evil.
The ladies were bedazzled by Mr.X ‘Emraan Hashmi’s’ charm when he unveiled the 10 page extension of popular comic book Chacha Chaudhary titled as ‘Chacha Chaudhary & Mr.X’. The comic will feature Emraan Hashmi as Mr. X, the invisible superhero with the man whose brain runs faster than a computer - Chacha Chaudhary and his giant companion Sabu from Jupiter resolving cases and combat criminals with Mr. X.

On the occasion Mr.X Emraan Hashmi said “it’s great to get featured with such popular character. I’ve grown up reading Chacha Chaudhary comic books and have never thought that I’ll be a part of it one day. In this special edition of ‘Chacha Chaudhary and Mr.X’, I’ll be helping him to solve his cases”.

Mahesh Bhatt, the producer of the film 'Mr.X' added that, “Mr.X is a family entertainer and you’ll see Emraan in an all different avatar donning a bald look with invisibility powers. The movie has special 3D effects and thrilling sequences and kids are going to love the film.”

Most sizzling fashions shows were presented by Tangerine, Groversons Paris Beauty and the grand finale by SENCO Gold & Diamonds showcasing works of renowned designers Ashfaque Ahmad, Rinku Sobti, Jainee Rajni Sharma.

Sharing his views on organizing this event, Manish Verma, Director, Diamond Magazines Pvt. Ltd. said, “Observing a woman's quest from life, Grehlakshmi Kitty Party  is an initiative to recognize the importance of women safety and empowerment and give them a platform to express their power, wisdom and grace.We have always tried to combine entertainment with information in every event we organize. The event was supported extensively through full fledged media as well as a detailed promotional plan.In the future endeavours, Grehlakshmi intends to host the event for a much larger scale of audiences and in other cities of the country as well.
