DishTV salutes the armed forces

As part of its Army Day (January 15) tribute to the indomitable spirit of the Indian soldiers, DishTVhas launched a series of offers for the armed forcesJawansunder the aegis of its campaign ‘JahandeshkerakshakwahantakDishTV’.

The direct-to-home service provider claims that its large network reaches even the far-flung, remote areas where Army Jawans are posted.

The offers extenddistinct benefits to the Jawans of the Defence and Paramilitary forces as well as their families. These include discounts on DishTV connections under the ‘Jai Jawan’ scheme whereby on acquisition of an SD or HD connection, a Jawan can enjoy a host of special offers on the new set top box as well as the monthly recharge. Also, soldiers will not, henceforth, have to pay relocation charges when transferred to another station.

 Speaking on the occasion, ArunKapoor, Chief Executive Officer, DishTV India,said,“It is truly an honour to salute our superheroes and bravehearts on Army Day. As an acknowledgement of their devotion to the nation, we have launched special offers for theJawans in the Indian armed forces and their families. We want to recognize the selfless service and sacrifices of the armed forces personnel.”
