Font Size   16 honours ‘Visionaries of Uttar Pradesh', the flagship portal of the digital division of DB Corp Limited (DBCL), in a unique initiative, honoured visionaries from Uttar Pradesh at a glittering ceremony at Hotel Renaissance, Marriott, Lucknow. Deputy Chief Ministers Dinesh Sharma and Keshav Prasad Maurya were present.

Dainik Bhaskar strengthened its online presence in UP during the recent state elections with campaigns such as ‘Ab sirf sach chalega. UP mein khabrein na dabengi na rukengi’. The new Government’s vision, together with the impactful presence of as a new media player in the State, have been greatly instrumental in the success of this maiden initiative.

Visionaries of Uttar Pradesh’ aimed to acknowledge all individuals who contributed towards enabling the state to make a mark at the global level and thus, play a significant role in India’s progress. Dainik Bhaskar’s editorial team identified 14 such personalities who, with their talent and noteworthy actions, have made a mark in society, creating a unique identity and setting strong examples for today’s youth through their inspiring success stories.

Talking about the initiative, Gyan Gupta, CEO, DB Digital said, “Visionaries of Uttar Pradesh aimed to reinforce our heritage as a socially responsible brand and help develop a platform to felicitate such phenomenal personalities to acknowledge their efforts and selfless contribution towards building the state of Uttar Pradesh. We are overwhelmed with the response to the first edition.”
