Dainik Bhaskar Group wins 2 Gold at Publishers ABBY 2017

DB Corp on Wednesday announced that the company has been awarded 2 Gold awards at the Publishers ABBY Awards 2017.  The award was bestowed for the campaign ‘Zidd Karo, Duniya Badlo’ under the categories ‘Best marketing of a printed newspaper/edition’ and ‘Best use of mobile/digital by a newspaper’ at the Publishers ABBY Awards 2017.

The Dainik Bhaskar Group has been at the forefront undertaking innovative, high-impact marketing initiatives with successful results. The group continues to fulfil its commitment to its vision of being ‘the largest and most admired media brand enabling socio-economic change’. The group’s ‘Zidd Karo, Duniya Badlo’ campaign has been a clarion call to all its audiences urging them to take determined steps towards creating a better world. The campaign has been trending highly and has registered more than three million video views on Facebook.

Commenting on the win, Kaacon Sethi, Chief Corporate Marketing Officer, The Dainik Bhaskar Group, said, “We are delighted to have received two Gold ABBYs at the recently held Goafest 2017. We launched one of the largest integrated campaigns, ‘Zidd Karo, Duniya Badlo’, in 2016. A worthy paid - owned - earned - shared case study, this campaign has won several medals both nationally and internationally. Since we are extremely selective and discerning about the marketing endeavors the organization submits in the form of various campaigns with high-impact messages, the recognition received at a prestigious platform as ABBYs at Goafest is tremendously encouraging. The campaigns were awarded not only for communication content and aesthetics but also for their return on investment.”
