Comedy Central to introduce a new show line-up and 'Summer Chills' this May

Comedy Central has announced an all-new line-up for the month of May. In addition to line-up of shows including all-new season of Episodes, Citizen Khan and Mulaney, the channel will also telecast ‘Summer Chills’.

Comedy Central is celebrating Mother's Day with a special treat for mothers and also introducing funny yet responsible takes on saving water.

The channel will premier Mother’s Day on 8 May, 12 noon to 5pm. This Mother’s Day, Comedy Central continues this movement of appreciation for all mothers by airing the entire season of Odd Mom Out. Laugh and bond with your mother, she loves you despite you’re all the stupid things you have done and surely will do in the future.

‘Citizen Khan’ which premieres 2 May at 10:30pm is set in Sparkhill, East Birmingham, described by its lead character, Mr. Khan, as "the capital of British Pakistan." The show follows the trials and tribulations of Mr. Khan, a loud-mouthed, patriarchal, self-appointed, cricket-loving community leader, and his long suffering wife and family.

‘Episodes’ will premiere on 10 May at 10:00pm. British writer-producers Beverly and Sean Lincoln, have a wonderful marriage and a hit TV series to their credit. Things couldn't be better. Until a Hollywood network executive convinces them that a remake of the show will go over well with an American audience. They pack up and ship out to the States. It doesn't take long for them to figure out that Hollywood is a place where deals are made and broken in the same breath. Merc ultimately dismisses the original star, an elder, distinguished, gentleman, for 'Friends' actor Matt LeBlanc.

‘Mulaney’ will premiere on  11 May at 10:30pm. John Mulaney is a comedian living in New York City with his roommates—Jane a personal trainer with emotional issues, and Motif, a fellow stand-up comedian. John often receives advice from his gay, Jewish, elderly neighbor Oscar and visits from his annoying, odd friend Andre, a small-time drug dealer. John's life changes when he's hired as a writer for Lou Cannon, an eccentric, legendary comedian and game show host.
