Cartoon Network and Pogo launch annual School Contact Programs

Turner India launched its annual Cartoon Network and POGO School Contact Programs (SCPs) across the country on August 3. Both SCPs will entertain students with games, trivia and prizes while also working to impart valuable lessons.

The Cartoon Network SCP called Adventure Camp is themed around the channel’s latest international series Adventure Time. The SCP aims on bringing adventure and an outdoorsy spirit of camping into schools through physical activities, mental games, sports, team building exercises and other activities.

On the other hand, Pogo, through its Bheem ka Fitness Formula SCP, is on a nationwide spree to make children fit and healthy like the character Chhota Bheem. Along with other Pogo characters like Mighty Raju, Tom and Jerry and Mr Bean, kids will learn about the importance of physical and mental exercises during their daily lives and how this will help them stay sharp and fit.

Both, Cartoon Network and Pogo SCPs will run till mid-September with a target of over one million students (between standards one to eight) in approximately 1000 schools. Combined, the SCPs will be conducted across 12 cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Lucknow, Kolkata, Ludhiana, Hyderabad, Kanpur, Ahmedabad and Amritsar.

Children in other parts of the country will also get an opportunity to be involved through the Adventure Camp contest and regular health and fitness tips which will be featured on Pogo.

Cartoon Network’s Adventure Camp SCP is presented by Fru Juicy Jelly and co-powered by Hershey’s Syrup and Boost biscuits with associate sponsor Dabur Red Paste.

Pogo’s Bheem ka Fitness Formula SCP is presented by Glucon-D Volt and co-powered by Jungle Magic Hand Sanitiz with associate sponsors Fru Juicy Jelly, Act-II Popcorn and Honda.
