Annu Kapoor felicitated with Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence Award For 'Suhaana Safar with Annu Kapoor'

RJ Annu Kapoor has been awarded with the Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence Award for ‘Suhaana Safar with Annu Kapoor’.  92.7 BIG FM launched the show three years ago. 
Kapoor has won accolade after accolade for his splendid narration and was also selected as the best RJ at the prestigious Golden Mike Awards, New York Festival Awards and the India Radio Forum Awards in 2015. He has also been voted the best RJ (Non –Metro) for the show for two consecutive years. He along with 92.7 BIG FM, has plans to take the show to the next level by doing multiple live on-ground shows.
Sharing his thoughts Kapoor said, “I am extremely honoured and humbled to receive the Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence Award for my show on 92.7 BIG FM ‘Suhaana Safar with Annu Kapoor’. We began this memorable journey three years ago, and there has been no looking back since. I dedicate this award to the listeners of 92.7 BIG FM who have showered the show with so much love, respect and adulation.”  
Going on to speak about the show, the two time national award winner, who has narrated more than 4000 stories through the show further added, “There is a lot of hard-work and research that goes behind the making of ‘Suhaana Safar’. The show gives me the freedom to express myself by not only narrating stories from yesteryears (films), but also stories that reside in my heart. I am blessed to have the opportunity to work with such a fantastic team, the true heroes of this show.”
