92.7 Big FM concluded Season 3 of its singing talent hunt Benadryl BIG Golden Voice in Mumbai, recently. After weeks of research and painstakingly selecting the deserving talent, popular singer and music director Shankar Mahadevan, the mentor and judge of the show, announced two contestants, Alankar Mahtolia (Delhi) and Sreekanth Hariharan (Chennai) as winners contest winners.

For the first time in Benadryl BIG Golden Voice, two winners were selected. Both will get an opportunity to be a part of Shankar Mahadevan’s next Bollywood project.

Ecstatic after his first win 20-year-old Alankar Mahtolia said, “I would like to thank 92.7 Big FM and Shankar Sir for believing in me. It is indeed a great honour to win Benadryl BIG Golden Voice Season 3. I am speechless. This is my first win at a national level. Though it never felt like a competition as every kid came in with their specialty in a specific genre. Some were good in folk while some excelled in Sufi. I was confident about my practice and knew that I’d stand a strong chance to win.”
Born to a family of music experts, this was a chance for 21-year-old Sreekanth Hariharan to shine. “I thank Shankar Sir for mentoring us the way he did and 92.7 Big FM for this platform. Benadryl BIG Golden Voice is indeed a huge national platform where I got to perform. Also, this was my first competition on a national level,” he mentioned.

On the eve of concluding the finale, Shankar Mahadevan said, “92.7 Big FM gave me an amazing opportunity to judge and mentor the talented singers who come on the show. I am glad that though this show we can provide them with a platform to showcase their talents. Benadryl BIG Golden Voice has indeed come as a blessing to these talented singers.”
