MY FM pays a tribute on Amitabh Bachchan’s 75th birthday

On the occasion of Amitabh Bachchanturning 75, MY FM pays a special tribute to the megastar. The station composed and produced a special song “A se Amitabh”, which features 75 RJs across 30 stations dressed up in various avtaar of the superstar, the RJs will go live on FB in their respective shows.

The song withA se Amitabh, B se Bachchan, C se Cinema keShahenshah and so on and so forth.Also in thethree day long activity, MY FM played super hit songs of Amitabh Bachchanduring the prime time show, followed by the tracks featuring Rekhaon the second day. On the day of his birthday, 11th October, the radio stationis playing songs of the iconic star whole day.

Commenting on the activity, ViploveGupte, Chief Programming Officer, said,“The entire FM radio generation in India, be it the RJs or the CEOs, all are fans of Amitabh Bachchan. His acting skills and unique adaptability to portray different roles are exemplary and in last many decades, he has reigned supreme. From Rajesh Khanna to HrithikRoshan, Amitabh has stood tall. At 75, he is the youngest actor we have and it’s only natural that we pay our respect to someone who is a true "Jiyo Dil Se" personality in Hindi film industry. 

Apart from playing great numbers filmed on him and the hits which he sang himself, the station has created a special song celebrating his dominance and his longevity in the industry so successfully. On 11th October, on 75th birthday of Amitabh Bachchan, 75 RJs of MY FM will don get ups of Amitabh Bachchan from his different films, hosting their respective shows which will be broadcast on Facebook live. We have also invited Amitabh Bachchan fans to studio to cohost the shows without RJs. This will be a huge surprise for everyone.”
