The objective of the Indian Digital Media Awards 2013 is to recognise, celebrate and encourage the work being done in the ever-growing digital space... specifically, internet, mobile, gaming and social media.

CATEGORIES AND LIST OF AWARDS

  10. Website - Corporate
    Most innovative and creative website created to promote a particular Organisation/ company. Websites may provide information and or promote, market or sell and are a point of contact for corporate, companies or individuals involved in on or offline commerce. The layout, ease of navigation, images, Visual Design - Aesthetic, functioning, graphics, etc will be looked at for evaluation.
  11. Website - Films/ TV show/ News Shows / Events
    Most innovative and creative website created to promote a particular Films/ TV show/ News Show/ Events. Websites may provide information and or promote, market or sell and are a point of contact with the viewers/ users. The layout, ease of navigation, images, Visual Design - Aesthetic, functioning, graphics, etc will be looked at for evaluation.
  12. Microsite - Product/ Services
    Most innovative and creative microsite created to promote a particular product/ service. Microsite may provide information and or promote, market or sell and are a point of contact for products, services, or individuals involved in on or offline commerce. The layout, ease of navigation, images, Visual Design - Aesthetic, functioning, graphics, etc will be looked at for evaluation.
  13. Website/ Microsite - Social Cause
    Most innovative and creative website/ microsite created to promote a particular Organisation/ company for a social Cause. Websites/ microsites may provide information and or promote, market or sell and are a point of contact for corporate, companies or individuals involved in on or offline commerce. The layout, ease of navigation, images, Visual Design - Aesthetic, functioning, graphics, etc will be looked at for evaluation.
  14. Microsite - Films/ TV show/ News Shows / Events
    Most innovative and creative Microsite created to promote a particular Films/ TV show/ News Show/ Events. Microsites may provide information and or promote, market or sell and are a point of contact with the viewers/ users. The layout, ease of navigation, images, Visual Design - Aesthetic, functioning, graphics, etc will be looked at for evaluation.
  15. Ecommerce - Self (own) brands Product/ Services/
    The best use of ecommerce to promote or sell a brand/ product/ service -their own product/ service. The demand of e-commerce increases, so does its competition between online shops. How attractive is the site to consumers and how easy and friendly to navigate and positively reflects their products and services. Design layout, user interface, ease of navigation, payment option- in how many windows the transaction is completed etc will be evaluated.
  16. Ecommerce - 3rd party brands Product/ Services/
    The best use of ecommerce to promote or sell a brand/ product/ service -3rd party product/ service. The demand of e-commerce increases, so does its competition between online shops.   22. Best use of a software that successfully manages and helps enhance an organization’s search engine optimization efforts.
  23. Best SEO for universal search ranking of videos, images, news etc.
  24. Best SEM Strategy
    An innovative campaign that has achieved outstanding results in SEM. Jury will be looking for work that can demonstrate delivering best practice showing an innovative approach to search. All supporting material to be uploaded as pdf with maximum of 4 pages. Supporting data to be uploaded on IDMA microsite in a pdf format.

  9. strongest community engagement
    Use of mobile social networks, person-to-person and/or community channels that drives and delivers against a core marketing objective. Judges look for information and understanding of the business and/or marketing challenge along with a solid mobile strategy. What impact does the community have on the market, if any? Please ensure your submission references research, creativity, demographic targets, technologies leveraged as well as other strategic considerations for the community
  10. Innovation
    Mobile marketing campaign featuring new or groundbreaking techniques and/or technologies to market a service or product or any campaign that has leveraged existing technology with a new, unconventional and creative execution. What impact does the campaign have on the market, if any? How did consumers receive the campaign? What was your strategic objective? (Increased market share, brand awareness, time engaged with the brand, sales, leads) Who was your intended target audience? What was your creative and media strategy? How creative or sophisticated was the campaign in its use of mobile media?

    You cannot upload video directly to the submission form. Creative samples must be accessible via URL or they cannot be viewed or scored by the judges. Recommended formats:

    Youtube (embedded video or direct link) or video provided by vimeo or other embedded means.
    Flash video (embedded within a creative URL)
    Quicktime (.mov or m4v)

    Best video creative made viral on Social Media. This is for a video that's played only on the internet/mobile medium. The concept, the manner in which the video is used, and the number of views the video has got.

    Best 'app' developed for social media sites and other websites. The idea, usability, navigation, engagement created by the app will be evaluated by the Jury.
  8. Apps - Corporate
    Best 'app' developed for social media sites and other websites. The idea, usability, navigation, engagement created by the app will be evaluated by the Jury.
  9. Apps - Social Cause
    Best 'app' developed for social media sites and other websites. The idea, usability, navigation, engagement created by the app will be evaluated by the Jury.

  3. Best Integrated Campaign - Social Cause

  5. Creative Person of the Year
    A special award that recognises an individual’s work between Jan 2012 to Dec 2012 in the digital space. Entries to be submitted by individuals with their 3 best works in a power point presentation format.
  6. Digital Start-up of the Year
    A special award that recognises the start up company in digital space which has set up shops in Jan 2012 to Dec 2012 in the digital space. Entries to be submitted by organisations/companies/ agencies with thought, business case and offerings and client testimonies.
  7. Digital Report
    Best Report or White paper on any element of the digital medium. To submit the report and the rationale behind the report and the Jury to decide on the Winner basis the report submitted. The report/ White paper should have been released between 1 Jan 2012 to 31 Dec 2012 .

F. HALL OF FAME AWARDS

  1. Digital and Social Media Advertiser
    The advertiser who has made the maximum, most effective and creative use of the digital and social medium in the year 2012. The winner will be decided by the Jury Chair on the basis of the number of awards won in the IDMA 2013. No entry to be sent for this award.
  2. Advertiser on Mobile
    The advertiser who has made the maximum, most effective and creative use of the mobile medium in the year 2012. The winner will be decided by the Jury Chair on the basis of the number of awards won in the IDMA 2012. No entry to be sent for this award.
  3. Digital and Social Media Agency of the Year
    The digital/ creative agency/ organisation that won the maximum awards at IDMA 2013. The winner will be decided on the basis of the number of points won by the agency (Gold: 10 points, Silver 5 points, Bronze 3 points; Best Integrated: Gold: 20 points, Silver: 10 points, Bronze 6). No entry to be sent for this award.
  4. Mobile Media Agency of the year
    The mobile/ creative agency/ organisation that won the maximum awards at IDMA 2012. The winner will be decided on the basis of the number of points won by the agency (Gold: 10 points, Silver 5 points, Bronze 3 points; Best Integrated: Gold: 20 points, Silver: 10 points, Bronze 6).   5. IDMA Person of the Year
    A special award that recognises the excellence of an individual who has contributed immensely to the industry in 2012. No entry to be sent for this award.
