Welcome to the Judging Dashboard of the Indian Digital Media Awards 2012
Each entry will be put through an evaluation in the pre jury round against a pre-set criterion for the respective category.

The average score arrived by the individual scores for each entry submitted by sub jury members will be considered to shortlist the top 5 entries to be considered by the full Jury.

All nominated entries from all categories will be put to discussion by the full Jury and the winner will be chosen through consensus and if required, through voting.

If the Jury cannot agree on the winner, the Jury Chair will decide the winners.

Entries are to be scored on a scale of 0 to 10 with 0 being the score for abstaining and 0.5 being the lowest score and 10 being the highest. Point assignment should be based on the following:

  • 10 Excellent/Clearly Outstanding
  • 9 Very Good
  • 8 Good
  • 7 Above Average
  • 6 Average
  • 5 Below Average
  • 4 Poor
  • 3 Very Poor
  • 2 Unacceptable
  • 0.5 Not worth scoring/Not acceptable
  • 0 Abstain
  • No response = not applicable ( incase if it is not in the relevant category)

Base your evaluation on the following parameters:

  • Concept
  • Execution
  • Originality
  • Simplicity
  • Ease of access and navigation

Please note that this is the first phase of scoring.

On the basis of your scores, we will prepare a shortlist, which will then be presented at either one of the two jury meets: March 31, 2012 in Mumbai or April 2, 2012 in Delhi.

Judging Criterion and Submissions
Banners / banners with rich media with without video – url of website with maximum of 3 banners to be submitted where snapshots/ images of the site is hosted

Each entry to be evaluated on the follow parameters

  • Uniqueness of Idea, Objective, background & context of the communication
  • Creative and imaginative use of the digital medium
  • Strength of the brand integration. The way a brand is incorporated in the campaign
  • Sales message, messaging - The clarity of communication/ message projected through this campaign
  • The achievement of Objective in terms of numbers this campaign delivered

Website/ Microsite – url of website where snapshots of the site is hosted.
Each entry to be evaluated on the follow parameters

  • Visual Design, Aesthetic, images, the layout, graphics, etc
  • Ease of navigation, functioning, will be looked at for evaluation.
  • Most innovative and creative created to promote a particular product/ service. The layout, ease of navigation, images, Visual Design - Aesthetic, functioning, graphics, etc will be looked at for evaluation
  • The engagement of the website with user should be highlighted in terms of numbers it has achieved.

e-commerce site – url of website where snapshots of the site is hosted.
Each entry to be evaluated on the follow parameters

  • How attractive is the site to consumers and how easy and friendly to navigate and positively reflects their products and services.
  • Design layout, user interface, ease of navigation, etc
  • Payment option- in how many windows the transaction is completed etc will be evaluated.

Web based applications – url of website where snapshots of the site is hosted.
Each entry will be evaluated on the follow parameters

  • Uniqueness of Idea, Objective, background & context of the communication
  • Creative and imaginative use of the digital medium
  • Strength of the brand integration. The way a brand is incorporated in the application
  • Sales message, messaging - The clarity of communication/ message projected through this application
  • The achievement of Objective in terms of numbers this application delivered

Web based gaming application – url of website where snapshots of the site is hosted.
Each entry will be evaluated on the follow parameters

  • Uniqueness of Idea, Objective, background & context of the communication
  • Creative and imaginative use of the digital medium
  • Strength of the brand integration. The way a brand is incorporated in the gaming application
  • Sales message, messaging - The clarity of communication/ message projected through this gaming application
  • The achievement of Objective in terms of numbers this gaming application delivered.

Mobile – Banners - url of website with maximum of 3 banners to be submitted where snapshots/ images of the site is hosted
Each entry will be evaluated on the follow parameters

  • Uniqueness of Idea, Objective, background & context of the communication
  • Creative and imaginative use of the digital medium
  • Strength of the brand integration. The way a brand is incorporated in the campaign
  • Sales message, messaging - The clarity of communication/ message projected through this campaign
  • The achievement of Objective in terms of numbers this campaign delivered
  • Quality of production, implementation, the quality, finishing of the creative
  • The achievement of Objective in terms of numbers this campaign delivered keeping in mind the size/ space availability for a mobile banner.

Site for Mobile- smart phones, ipads, tabs etc - url of website where snapshots of the site is hosted.
Visual Design, Aesthetic, images, the layout, graphics, etc

  • Ease of navigation, functioning, will be looked at for evaluation.
  • Most innovative and creative created to promote a particular product/ service. The layout, ease of navigation, images, Visual Design - Aesthetic, functioning, graphics, etc will be looked at for evaluation
  • The engagement of the website with user should be highlighted in terms of numbers it has achieved.

Best use of Social Media Network– url of website where snapshots of the social media initiative is hosted.
Each entry will be evaluated on the follow parameters

  • Uniqueness of Idea, Objective, background & context of the communication
  • Creative and imaginative use of the digital medium
  • Strength of the brand integration. The way a brand is incorporated in the application
  • Sales message, messaging - The clarity of communication/ message projected through this application
  • The achievement of Objective in terms of numbers this application delivered
  • Quality of production, implementation, the quality, finishing of the creative
  • The achievement of Objective in terms of numbers this initiative has delivered

Search Engine Optimisation
The Jury will be looking for work done as best practice showing a creative approach to search.

All the supporting material have been uploaded as pdf with maximum of 4 pages. Supporting 3rd party data also available in the pdf.

Search Engine Marketing
Jury will be looking for work that can demonstrate delivering best practice showing an innovative approach to search.

All supporting material to be uploaded as pdf with maximum of 4 pages. Supporting data to be uploaded on IDMA microsite in a pdf format.

Best Integrated campaign - url of website where snapshots of the campaign is hosted.

Best use of any three of the following: web, mobile, IVRS, other digital devices, social media, email marketing, SMS marketing to promote a product/service etc.

This may or may not be in sync with non-digital media.

The submission to have details of what elements used the communication / creative/ image and how it intergrated the other elements.

The results of the campaign to be highlighted separately in numbers of numbers it has delivered.

Digital Start up of the Year

The entrants to submit registration documents, with date of registration of the start-up, along with thought, business case and offerings and 2 client testimonies.

The uniqueness of the solution or service will be the focus for the judges as they will be looking out for how different is your offering viz a viz those currently available in the market.

The jury will go through the set of documents and judge the entry to identify the best Digital Start up of the Year.

Best Digital Report - url of website where details of the report is hosted.

A Report or White paper on any element of the digital medium which has been based on the data or released for the year 2011, or released in the year 2011 can be considered.

To submit the report and the rationale behind the report and the Jury to decide on the Winner basis the report submitted. The report/ White paper should have been released between 1 Jan 2011 to 31 Dec 2011, or for the year 2011.

The jury will go through the set of documents and judge the entry to identify the best paper/ report submitted of the Year.
