Growth in advertising of Education sector on Print


• Education sector registered a 17% rise in ad volumes in Jan-May'07 over Jan-May'06 on Print
• CIIT-JEE, Chaitanya Educational Institutions and International Institute of Project Management were the 3 main contributors with highest growth

Segmentation of Education Sector during Jan-May’07


• ‘Educational Institutions’ leads advertising with 68% share in Jan-May 07 followed by Coaching Centre with 15% share


• Out of overall number of players, 63% of players belonged to ‘Educational Institutions’

Segment wise growth on Print in Jan-May’07 over Jan-May’06 7



• BPO/Call Centre Training Institutes saw 49 new advertisers on Print during Jan-May 07

• Though there is a dip in number of players in Jan-May 07, Foreign Education Centre saw 28% growth in ad volumes over Jan-May 06

• Top 10 Advertisers of Education sector accounted for 15% of ad volumes

• The Top 3 positions saw players offering courses on Management, Science & Technology and Financial Analysts

• Approx. 6000 new advertisers were registered in Education sector on Print during Jan-May'07, out of which 59% of players were contributed by Educational Institutions
